At Grac
e we are committed to obeying the Lord of the whole earth by doing our part to bring the good news of the gospel to those who have never heard in the "unreached" parts of the globe. As followers of Jesus Christ in today's world we must respond to His "Great Commission" ("...and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth" - Acts 1:8). Genesis 12:3 and Galatians 3:14 says that "in Abraham" and eventually "in Jesus" all families or peoples of the earth would be blessed. Revelation 7:9 says that multitudes "from every nation and tribe and peoples and tongues" will stand before the throne of God, praising Him. Matthew 24:14 says that the gospel shall be preached "in the whole world for a witness to all the nations (people groups) and then the end shall come." From these and many other passages we take our vision to participate in reaching the thousands of people groups in the world who have never heard the gospel or who have no viable national church. These "unreached peoples" account for approximately 20% of the world's population, or 1.2 billion people! Most of these people groups can be found in what is referred to as the 10/40 Window - a region of Africa, the Middle East and Asia within the latitudes of 10 and 40 degrees north.
On the basis of the book of Acts, we believe that the local church must be primarily involved in the sending and supporting of cross-cultural workers. Our

commitment at Grace is to send and support those in our church family whom the Lord has called out for the privilege of cross-cultural service. Our long-range goal is to continue sending mature ministers to unreached peoples, equipped and part of effective teams to meet physical and spiritual needs, and plant churches. To further this goal, we have formed an organization called "
Partners Across Cultures" which administrates the sending of teams and cross-cultural workers as well as short-term and youth teams to work alongside and help further our long term goals. You can get more information about Partners Across Cultures by contacting our
Pastor of Cross-cultural Outreach at or going to the web site
www.partnersacrosscultures.com. Adequate training is necessary for the preparation of effective cross-cultural workers. Within Grace we provide a Missions Training School called LAUNCH to begin the equipping process for those who believe they are to go and serve overseas. If you are interested in learning more about missions training, please see the information on the
LAUNCH page, download an
application or contact our
Pastor of Cross Cultural Outreach.
To obey the Great Commission, we must minister not only in "the remotest part of the earth," but also in our "Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria." The Lord of the Harvest has brought the nations to us, and has strategically placed us to share the gospel cross-culturally right here at home. An important part of our outreach is to the internationals who live in Arlington - UTA's international students and their families; and the many refugees and immigrants who settle here. We desire to build relationships with internationals and share the love of God in Christ. Some of the ways we do this are through free
ESL (English as a Second Language) classes held at our church facility; and serving UTA international students by befriending them and helping them adjust to this
city and culture.

We also have an on-going ministry to Mexico, through regular ministry trips led by our Hispanic pastor and his team. We serve the poor and needy in Mexico through taking food, clothes, and the gospel to villages and cities. We have opened children's homes, built churches, and served the poor and the imprisoned. Our youth, college and singles take regular mission trips to
Mexico, as well as families and home groups.
At Grace, the day-to-day activities of our cross-cultural outreach are managed by the pastor of cross-cultural outreach with help from a team of lay leaders. They meet regularly to pray and seek God's leading for present and future ministry. However, as the body of Christ we are all called to obedience in reaching the unreached - some as senders, some as goers, and all of us as pray-ers. We all play a part.
