Every gift is from the Father of lights (James 1:17) who taught us through Jesus to “Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16)

And Jesus taught through an advanced art form in his day, didactic storytelling!

At Grace Community, we believe:

• artists bear the image of God in a unique & necessary way

• the body of Christ is incomplete without us

• signs and wonders will be produced by our faith-based art (Mark 16:17-18)

• we need the covering & equipping of the apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers to fulfill our calling in the Lord (Ephesians 4:11-12).

Culture is shaped by art, and heavenly art creates heavenly culture; art speaks prophetically, to encourage and to convict; art is a powerful instrument for evangelism to a dying world; art can comfort and feed people’s souls; and as Jesus modeled, art can be didactic to teach people about the kingdom.

We meet every Tuesday at 6:00 pm in the Grace House of Prayer (GHOP) to worship together, pray for each other, and occasionally “show and tell” about our art! If you’re a musician, actor, dancer, writer, visual artist, 3D print-er, kazoo hummer, or did-an-artistic-thing-one-time-in-highschool-er, we want you with us!
