ESL Classes are Underway!

“Individually we contribute, together we transform.” This simply sums up the fun, joy, and excitement that comes when the ESL Team works together, preparing to serve and bless students eager to learn and improve their English skills.

Individually, each staff member is an enormous gift to the class they volunteer in, but when these individuals bring their passion for others, willingness to serve, and their unique gifts together, the Spirit of the Lord fills the place, leaving students with more than just great English practice - they also benefit from being part of community, making new friends, experience love, care, and prayer support, and have an opportunity to hear the amazing news of Jesus.

It also takes a TEAM to prepare for and launch a new year of ESL. This year many individuals stepped up and worked together to provide excellent training; create helpful training videos; welcome, guide, evaluate and place students in the right classes; gracefully manage an overwhelming number of “make-up” registrations; patiently enter stacks of data; create attendance sheets and class lists; help students find their way to classes the first night; answer numerous questions; provide support in the office; and help translate material and prayer requests to further serve and bless our students.

This year we have 175 students (with more on wait lists) eagerly coming to classes and 75 amazing staff members working together to bring the love of Jesus to the nations! We can’t wait to see what God is going to do!!
