Aposento Alto: Our Spanish Church Family

“I tell you that in the same way, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents…” Luke 15:7(a)

We believe that we had a good portion of that joy of heaven during the baptisms on Sunday, January 26th, when six new believers decided to give public testimony of their faith in Jesus Christ. Also, that same day the ceremony of presentation of new members for the Hispanic ministry of Grace. What a great blessing that people are saved and that they are joining a local church for service in the work of God!

We thank God for what He is doing in the Hispanic community of Grace and surely you will ask yourself: What about these people?

Aposento Alto is the name of our ministry. The great majority of our members are migrants established in the United States. We have a great representation of different Spanish-speaking countries, in this way, the Hispanic culture is very evident among us even in our worship; Even so, the number of second-generation members is growing, so we try to maintain a balance between both generations, and cultures.

Our mission continues to be: evangelism, discipleship, and multiplication; and we pray that the Lord guides us in this work. We seek to be guided by the Holy Spirit in everything we do.

Our ministry extends beyond our local community to some of our representative countries such as Guatemala and Cuba. We send aid to the very poor communities, supplying medicines, covering some food needs, and serving directly in the mission field sharing the gospel.

We love to worship and maintain that Latin warmth that unites us as a family in faith, and if you want to know how to say Hallelujah and Glory to God in Spanish, come see us on Sundays at 1:00 p.m. at the Worship Center.
