2026 Men’s Retreat

April 24-25th (Fri & Sat)

Come spend a weekend with your brothers in Christ — just the right thing to encourage and challenge you! We will meet, worship, fellowship, and have fun!

  • Time Together: Meetings that include worship, prayer, and messages tailored for men

  • Time in Groups: Small groups for discussion, encouragement, and prayer

  • Time alone with God: Time to wander off and listen to what the Lord might be saying to you

  • Free time: Time for various optional activities, taking a hike, hanging out — whatever

Who: The men of Grace Community Church, 18 and older. We have room in the cabin for 80!

When: You can meet at the church at 4:45 pm to ride in a van or meet us at the retreat center by 6:30 pm. Dinner on Friday is 7:00-7:45 pm. The first meeting is at 8 pm. Detailed Schedule

Location: Riverbend Retreat Center in Glen Rose (riverbend.camp), a 70-minute drive southwest of Grace Church

Lodging: We will stay in bunk beds in three cabins. Bring bedding or a sleeping bag.

Food: Friday Dinner through Saturday Dinner included (4 meals) prepared by retreat center staff in the Dining Hall.

Optional activities: (NO extra cost)

  • Skeet shooting (shotguns and ammo provided, or bring your own gun)

  • Paintball battle (all equipment provided)

  • Possibly Also (if enough men register): Archery Range, Archery Tag, or Zip-line

  • Disc golf (bring your own discs if you like, but some are available)

  • Catch and Release Fishing in a private pond (bring your own gear, no permit required)

  • Basketball courts, volleyball courts, pickleball, 9-square-in-the-air, ping pong (all equipment provided)

  • Hang out by the Pond or overlooking the Brazos River

  • Hiking on trails on the property

Cost: Standard (sleep in cabin) $130 ($10 Early-bird discount if you register before April)

  • Sleep in a Tent, Hammock, Camper, RV (no hookups), at home, or a motel = save $50

  • You may pay with a card online or mail a check to the Church Office

  • You may make a partial payment as you register, and then pay the balance by April 24
